Important Notice & Terms of Service – Please Read
• Plastering & Decorating: Where plastering is part of the process, minor residue may remain upon completion. Fresh plaster may require light sanding or filling before decorating.
• Sealant: Sealant residue may remain on tiles or flooring. This can be safely removed using a non-abrasive tool.
• Grouting & Standards: In tiled areas, corners may be intentionally left without grout in accordance with British Building Standards to allow for movement. These will be finished with mastic.
• Tile/Flooring Choices: Please discuss your chosen tiles or flooring before work begins, as this may impact finishes, methods, and costs.
• Cleaning: Areas will be left tidy and clear of major debris, but a full deep clean is not included. Minor traces of dust or residue may remain.
• Timeframes: Bathroom installations typically take up to 3 weeks. This may vary due to material availability or unforeseen issues. Any delays will be communicated.
• Water Supply: Water will be isolated at various times during the workday. A minimum of 15 minutes’ notice will be given before each interruption.
• Decorating Work: Painting, caulking, sanding, and similar decorating work is not included unless specifically outlined in your quotation.

Liability & Existing Conditions
Killick Services accepts no responsibility for the following:
• Pre-existing damage to property, fixtures, or fittings.
• Incorrect fittings already in place on existing pipework.
• Faulty or incorrect installation of existing pipework or fittings.
• Leaks discovered during the course of the work. You will be notified, and options for rectification will be provided at your discretion and cost.
• Old or deteriorated fixtures and fittings that may become damaged during removal or installation.

Product Limitations
• Large shower trays may sometimes have minor manufacturing imperfections which can result in uneven drainage. This is a product-related issue and not a fault of the installation process.
• We are not responsible for unlevel existing walls. If this presents an issue, we will inform you and offer corrective options at your discretion.

Quotations & Pricing
• If your quote is based on an hourly rate, the final cost may vary depending on the time required to complete the work.

Payment Terms: Payment is due within 7 days of the invoice date. A late fee of 10% will be applied to any outstanding balance after this period. Continued non-payment may result in legal action or further recovery measures.
Financial Difficulties: If you are experiencing financial hardship, we’re happy to discuss a payment plan that works for both parties. All we ask is for open and honest communication — we understand these are challenging times for many families.
